Answer: To sort the pivot table, let's look at an example.
Currently the pivot table is sorted by Order ID in descending order. We would like to sort by the Order ID values in ascending order.
Click on the arrow to the right of the Order ID drop down box and click on the Ascending button. Then click on the X in the top left to close the Order ID window.
Now when you view the pivot table, the Order ID values are sorted in ascending order.
