Word: Hide the horizontal and vertical ruler in Word 2007

Question:  In Word 2007, how do I hide the horizontal and vertical ruler?

Answer: Click on the Microsoft Office button in the top left of the Word window and then click on the Word Options button.

When the Word Options window appears, click on the Advanced option on the left. Then scroll down to the Display section in the right side of the window and select the option called "Show vertical scroll bar". Click on the OK button.

Click the View Ruler button just above the vertical scroll bar.

Now the horizontal and vertical rulers should be hidden.
