Question: In Word 2007, how do I create a header that is different for the first page of the document?
Answer:Select the Page Layout tab in the toolbar at the top of the screen. Then in the Page Setup group, click on the Page Setup Dialog Box launcher. This is the button in the bottom right corner of the Page Setup group.
When the Page Setup window appears, click on the Layout tab. Check the "Different first page" checkbox. Click on the OK button.
Now when you view the document, the header on the first page will be different from the rest of the pages. Initially the first page header will be blank. You can go in and edit it.
