MS Access 2003: Hide tables as hidden objects

This MSAccess tutorial explains how to hide tables in your database as hidden objects in Access 2003 (with screenshots and step-by-step instructions).

Question: In an Access 2003/XP/2000/97 database, I've created a table that I don't want others to see. How can I hide a table from appearing in the database window?

Answer: If you don't want users to see a table in an Access database, you can mark the table as a hidden object.

To do this, right-click on the table that you wish to hide and select Properties from the popup menu.

Microsoft Access

When the Properties window appears, select the checkbox called "Hidden". Then click on the OK button.

In this example, we've hidden the table called Suppliers. This table still exists in the database but you can no longer see it in the database window.
